This annual free and family-friendly outdoor Next Level Showcase event features an afternoon of top notch regional music. Park Street Music Fest features returning Madison artists Orquesta SalSoul del Mad and Makahya Drake (who played the first Park Street Music Fest as a member of Trilogy in 2017), along with M Train Plus; Milwaukee’s V Funk, the duo of Valerie B. and Vincent Chambers; Iowa-based C Dawson Soul featuring CJ Parker; and Chicago DJ/MC Van 'Go. Food trucks and vendors will also be on the grounds, as well as free health screenings from 3-5 p.m. Also: Come out early for a 5K run/walk, starting at 9 a.m. Find the full schedule below.

media release: Next Level Showcase Park Street Music/Community Fest is a signature event that's in its 7th year. The event is free and will be held August 3, 2024, at the 1602 S. Park St. (Labor Temple Grounds) 3:00pm-8:00pm.  Growing in popularity, Next Level Showcase Park Street Music/Community Fest has established itself as a premier summer event. 

The afternoon includes entertainment by local and regional artists: DJ Van 'Go 3 pm, M Train Plus 3:35 pm, Makahya Drake 4:10 pm, Orquesta SalSoul del Mad 4:55 pm, V Funk 6 pm, C Dawson Soul 7:10 pm. Additionally, the event will provide preventative health screenings and information (from 3-5 pm), food trucks & retail vendors. Bring a Lawn Chair!

Earlier in the day, at 9 am, there will be a 5K Walk/Run emphasizing Black male health but open to all.
