The band Toad the Wet Sprocket.
Toad the Wet Sprocket
There was a period in the mid-'90s when the introspective, melodic indie rock of Toad the Wet Sprocket was everywhere, from the radio to the soundtracks of the movies you were going to see. Three of the original four members are back, with a 2021 album and a remastered greatest hits package. The Verve Pipe opens. Read Stephen Coss’s preview here.
media release: Presented by 105.5 Triple M. This is a Reserved Seat Show. All ticketing is through Ticketmaster.
Toad the Wet Sprocket have premiered the video for the single “Best of Me (2023)” exclusively on People Magazine. The song is featured on ALL YOU WANT (Bonus Edition), a remastered greatest hits album released in May 2023. It’s also the name of their current headlining tour.
Leading the 90s rock revival as noted in Esquire Magazine, they continue to crisscross the country throughout 2023, the ALL YOU WANT headlining tour concludes the first leg this month before heading back out in August through October.
The band recently spoke with Billboard’s “Behind The Set List” podcast about their selections for this tour and reveal some interesting band history including a story about Kiss cover w/ Jon Bon Jovi at Madison Square Garden.
On this run, founding members Glen Phillips, Todd Nichols, and Dean Dinning, are joined by Jon Sosin (Lap Steel, Keyboards, mandolin) and Carl Thompson (Drums, Percussion). You never know who might pop up on stage on any given night!
