Time-lapse films are generally well-received online, their sense of compressed time well suited to the immediacy of the medium, particularly when they're set to an appropriately pensive soundtrack. This is the case with February Time Lapse, a short video created by Jon Worrell.
Set in a number of locations in downtown Madison, including the frozen shores of Lake Mendota, the lobby of the Overture Center and the doorway of Pinkus McBride market, its opening is set to the mournful strains of Sufjan Stevens' "John Wayne Gacy, Jr."
