One of the more popular seasonal flavors of online video has been the freezing boiling water trick. Practiced (and sometimes perfected) from the porches, decks and patios of homes in northerly climes, the aim is to get the vapor in boiling water to freeze before it hits the ground. The trick, of course, is that it must be very cold outside, preferably below zero Fahrenheit.
Given Madison's positively polar conditions over the last couple of weeks, a few folks have tried this experiment locally. The results, including one video clip billing it as "magic," follows below.
