When Isthmus last published a Fall Arts Preview issue in 2019, the introduction encouraged readers to, of course, get out and enjoy the many entertainment options available to them. It ended — ironically, in hindsight — with the words “TV can wait!” Although the fall season played out as intended, it turned out we would spend that spring and much of the next year staring at screens. We have learned our lesson! Madison music groups, theater troupes, art museums, makerspaces and more can’t wait to see you in your seat, or roaming the galleries, or getting your hands dirty with ink or paint. And there's lots more. Next month we'll be diving into October's Wisconsin Book Festival like a pile of fall leaves.
