Short subjects: Also at the Fredric March Play Circle this weekend (for details, see Movie Times): Jonathan Nossiter's Sunday, a romantic faux pas de deux about an out-of-work actress (Lisa Harrow) who mistakes a homeless man (David Suchet) for a famous director. Shy and desperate, the man plays along; and, once she knows the truth (or does she?), the woman plays along, too. Skillfully directed and beautifully acted, Sunday could be called Pinter in Winter; set in Queens, it's about two people whose lives are suffering from middle-aged sag, but who manage to sag in the general direction of each other.
