Today's image is titled ballheaded holiday hats and was photographed by Beth McConnell.
This photo takes a closer look at one of the most unique landscaping features on Madison's near-east side. Located on Spaight Street in the Marquette neighborhood, this violet house is home to a bowling ball garden in its front yard.
The bowling balls are there year-round, but they've taken on a seasonal theme. Alas, some of the Santa hats have recently disappeared thanks to a grinch. In the end, though, "Santa Knows," as signs in the garden now proclaim for all to see.
