Snow fall
Today's image is titled Snow fall was photographed by Emily Mills.
"Took a nice long walk to enjoy the snow tonight," writes Mills in the caption to this photo, shot on Monday evening as the winter storm socking Madison today was just starting to pick up some steam. "I'm sure I'll love it less tomorrow morning when I have to drive through it to get to work, but for now I can pretend I'm ten again and have no responsibilities: only the hope of a snow day tomorrow, followed by sledding and hot chocolate."
It is indeed a snow day for many folks across southern Wisconsin. As listed by WISC-TV and Clear Channel, schools throughout the region are closed, including within Madison itself. As of 6 a.m., some 4 to 6" of snow had already fallen as part of the winter storm, with several more inches expected through the day before conditions calm.
