Middleton Depot
Today's image is titled Middleton Depot and was photographed by Will Ringland.
This photo depicts the water tower for the Middleton Depot, located on 1811 Parmenter Street in the heart of the city hugging Madison's northwest side. The depot is currently home to the Middleton Tourism & Visitor Center, and has served as an actual train stop on occasion over the last decade during commuter rail trial runs to and from Camp Randall. Constructed in 1895, the depot is listed in the National Register of Historical Places. More details about the building are available in a wiki profile from Archiplanet.
