On the evening of March 9, the space formerly occupied by the Artist and Craftsman Supply store on East Johnson Street in the Tenney neighborhood played host to a Guerrilla Gorilla Art Showcase presented by Firecracker Studios. As seen in the photo, the onetime retail space was packed with people getting an early start to their Friday night, stopping by to view work from more than 25 artists from throughout the upper Midwest and listen to hip-hop from Horton the Irrelevant and August the Creep.
There are many more photos from the showcase available for perusing, including looks of various pieces taken by Capital Newspapers blogger Hastings Cameron, and another gallery of the showcase and the people attending it shot by Talbot.
There is a larger version of the photo in the gallery at right.
