Today's image is titled prom: pastels all around and was photographed by Beth McConnell.
May means prom season around most parts, including Madison. While this city has nothing close to the scene that exists in Racine, weekends have been busy over the last with the year-end high school soirees (and an ersatz version at the High Noon Saloon).
This is particularly the case at Monona Terrace, as seen in this photo. "I'm relieved that for all the chaos our teens have to abide," writes McConnell in its caption, "they have more/better dress choices than existed 20+ years ago, when we high schoolers came out of our caves to have our prehistoric dance parties."
