Today's image is untitled and was photographed by JonAnne Hobbs.
Shot in the waning days of summer, this photo depicts a view of Lake Mendota and its south shore as seen from the bicycle path and an accompanying bench on Picnic Point. The building visible at the horizon is Van Hise Hall, the tallest building on the UW-Madison campus. A corresponding view of the lake and famous peninsula is available in the WI-MN Cooperative Extension Agricultural Weather webcam, operated by the Soil Sciences department from the turret of King Hall.
