united sons of toil
Today's image is titled united sons of toil and was photographed by Bill Borowski.
After closing for a short period of time over the summer, Firecracker Studios has reconstituted itself and reopened in a brand new location. It continues to hold its monthly music and art showcases at the Inferno, however, the most recent being last Friday the Thirteenth. The showcase featured art from Donald Topp, and also served as a CD release party for Faghat. The other three bands performing at the party were Madison's own The Arge, Xerus (from Minneapolis), and the brand new United Sons of Toil. The Sons feature the photographer Bill Borowski alongside Chad Burnett and Russell Hall, and their music is self-described as "loud, noisy, and occasionally catchy."
