Today's image is titled Drive for the Goal and was photographed by Glenn Loos-Austin.
Loos-Austin describes the photo, which was published in mid-September: "Ivy has joined Madison's Millennium Soccer Club. Today was the first meeting, and she had a very good time. For my part, I was quite impressed with how well organized they were, considering that there were around 50 kids there, all 2nd and 3rd graders." The Millennian Soccer Club provides elementary and middle-school soccer instruction and games at four locations in the city, and was "founded with the explicit mission to provide a high quality, low cost recreational soccer program within low income, ethnically diverse neighborhoods."
