Today's image shows the first person to cross the finish line at Ironman Wisconsin and was photographed by Nicole Possely.
Titled "the winner," this photo shows the first person to complete the 2007 edition of Ironman Wisconsin shortly before 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 9. Cheered on by large crowds gathered along Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. in downtown Madison, just a block away from the race's home base at Monona Terrace, German triathlete Maik Twelsiek crossed the finish line in 8 hours, 52 minutes and 49 seconds.
