Today's image is titled State Street Autumn Afternoon and was photographed by Michael Ejercito.
Shot from the UW Library Mall, Ejercito describes the photo as "looking out onto a bustling State Street in Madison, Wisconsin on a brisk autumn afternoon." The colors are indeed changing rapidly as the season turns as fall rapidly progresses in the region. Visible in the foreground are some of the mall's many food carts, with the intersection Lake Street immediately behind them as the Wisconsin Capitol building gazes from the other end of State.
