Politics is serious business, and there are many important issues at stake issues that deserve a lot of thought and attention. But sometimes, politics can get a little too serious, and you need something a little different now and then to lighten the mood.
Are you saying, Joe Wineke, that pork and black bean chili is not serious business? There has to be at least a few Dane County chefs who would beg to differ. And, as you correctly imply in your analysis of UW basketball, the Badgers have been serious business ever since Bo Ryan took over.
