You've got to be pretty slick to pull this one off:
The two Republican candidates for governor each have U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan listed as a co-chair of separate fundraisers on Tuesday but Ryan won't be at either one.
Both Scott Walker and Mark Neumann coincidentally scheduled fundraisers in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday. Walker's is in the afternoon and Neumann's is in the early evening.
Not only do some Republicans think it's healthy for the party to have a vibrant debate to determine who is best to take on the Dems, but Ryan believes it's healthy for all candidates to have his endorsement, lest his support for one is simply too much of an advantage.
OK, I'm putting words in his mouth. I admit it.
