The Harmony Bar will host a show on Sunday, August 12, to help its fellow east-side institution Greg Ginter and his Guitar Shop of Wisconsin.
As we reported last month, the shop suffered at least $30,000 in damage in a June 28 fire. The benefit features a bunch of local acts, including Aaron Williams, Paul Filipowicz, and Tony Brown and Andy Ewen. It runs from 3 to 8 p.m., and a $12 donation is suggested.
Ginter has also set up a temporary new store and service location at 1804 Wright St. and has said he plans to hold a sale to thin out his inventory.
