The MadCabaret's long run at the now defunct Slipper Club ended last week, but the saucy variety show is definitely not over. The cabaret sashays to the King Club on Aug. 24 for a one-off performance; after that, MC Pierce Bottoms (a.k.a. William Martin Price) says the plan is to test out other local venues before a more permanent new home is chosen. Bottoms, who will be leaving the show, adds that the regular participants are still deciding whether it will remain a weekly event.
