As the third annual Madison Music Project Live show rolled on, the crowd got a little thicker, a little louder and a little, um, more festive. Add to that the fact it was Friday, October 13, and people were definitely in the mood to get off-kilter. By the time Aaron Veenstra was able to meet with the Kissers, the High Noon Saloon was loud.
As a result, the interview portion of this video might be hard to hear. But the performance portion, kicked off by Ken Fitzsimmons impressive bass work, will make you think you're right in the room. Few can get a room literally hootin' and hollerin' like the Kissers can, and certainly no other band in the area can get anyone to do that odd "Riverdance" jig thing.
Note: This year, we enlisted the help of local video-blogger Aaron Veenstra to produce a series of, um, vlogs or v-casts or whatever you want to call them.
