Inspired by the ubiquitous chorus and beat of "This is what democracy looks like!" at the Wisconsin Capitol protests over the last six-plus weeks, Milwaukee-based photographer Kevin J. Miyazaki set up an impromptu studio on the sidewalk along the Square and shot portraits of demonstrators passing by; he subsequently compiled this lens-assisted look at democracy "in the form of faces, signs, buttons, and hard hats" into a four-minute video slideshow.
