The Gomers
High Noon Saloon 701A E. Washington Ave., Madison, Wisconsin 53703
Madison native Dave Adler has spent his entire life around musical performance. His journey has taken him to live and perform in Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago (where he was Second City’s musical accompaniest, and worked with some of today’s greats in television), and of course, Madison.
If you’ve seen The Gomers, Willy Porter, Steely Dane, Love Monkeys, or Ken Lonquist, you’ve seen Dave playing keys in his amazing, unique, unabashed style.
Dave is turning 50 years old on Sunday, July 26th, and is throwing a party to say thanks to the many people around Madison who have helped make his musical life so robust. Dave has invited a who’s-who of Wisconsin musicians to perform.
This free show will feature The Gomers as the backing band, with performers including: Willy Porter, Freedy Johnston, Sean Michael Dargan, Ken Lonnquist, Lucas Bielejewski, Kia Karlen, Maggie Weiser and Jonathan Zarov, as well as members of Steely Dane, The Love Monkeys, Sunshine For The Blind, and VO5. Dave is the musical director of Steely Dane, a Steely Dan tribute band, which will be performing at Atwoodfest at 5:00PM.
“50 Shades of Dave” will be at The High Noon Saloon from 8:00PM until the band is too tired to play, or bar time, whichever comes first. The event is listed here on Facebook.
