This interactive session will explore a bit of the neuroscience behind effective approaches to visual methods. You'll learn simple strategies to "wow" them at the whiteboard. You'll bring out your "inner artist", applying some basic artistic tricks of the trade to make visual choices. And you'll have a chance to practice, pitching some approaches to your marketing colleagues.

About the Speaker: Mary Michaud helps clients visualize what matters. She combines research training, instructional design, professional facilitation experience and art skills to improve how organizations engage people, communicate meaning, and move toward action. Mary has a Master's in Public Policy Studies and Health Administration from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree from UW-Madison. She is currently completing certification as a leadership coach through the Institute for Zen Leadership.
