New this year! The DCFM is offering official merchandise. T-shirts can be purchased online in a variety of colors. We have two bright and colorful t-shirt designs highlighting produce you’ll find at our markets throughout the season. Tote bags can be purchased online or in-person at our Wednesday Market. Gift certificates can also be purchased at our website or in-person at our Wednesday Market. Additionally, The Dane County Farmers’ Market Cookbook: Local Foods, Global Flavors will be available for purchase at every market at the Information Booth.
At every market, you’ll always find hundreds of local, Wisconsin-produced agricultural products. With over 200 vendors, the DCFM is known as the largest producer-only farmers’ market in the nation. From freshly picked asparagus and radishes to aged cheddar and cured meat, you can make amazing meals with the thoughtfully grown and crafted products from the DCFM. Visit us any Saturday or Wednesday this growing season, rain or shine, to experience some Wisconsin goodness.
We are lucky to have an incredible number of parking options around the Square, and we also recommend walking, biking or taking the bus downtown. Please note that the State Street corner of the Capitol Square – West Mifflin Street and North Carroll Street – will be closed to vehicle traffic each Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Customers who use vehicles to pick up large orders from that corner of the Square can do so before 8 a.m., or arrange an alternative pick up site with the farmer.
