League of Women Voters of Dane County Issues Forum

press release: The League of Women Voters of Dane County invites the public to attend the upcoming Issues Forum, “Successes and Challenges in High School Education” on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at 7 p.m. in the Capitol Lakes Grand Hall, 333 West Main Street, in downtown Madison.  

How do high schools meet a very diverse need among students?  How do they help students graduate or support them when they are homeless?  Three area high school principals will inform us about the state of high school today.  Join us for a panel discussion with Keith Nerby, principal of Sun Prairie High School; Steve Plank, principal of Middleton High School; and Sean Storch, principal of La Follette High School.  The event is free and open to the public.  Free parking is available in the ramp across the street.  For more information visit the League’s website at www.lwvdanecounty.org .
