 An unwavering dedication to the do-it-yourself work ethic is the signature of 20-year-old performing songwriter Andrew Tufano. Since playing his first live show at 12 years old, Tufano has become known for his acoustic style with pop, folk and rock influences. With more than 350 shows under his belt, this young entrepreneur is eager to embrace the ever changing music industry.

Embodying a truly musical spirit, it didn’t take long for this young artist out of Sterling, Virginia to develop his quirky stage persona through the use of a loop pedal, intricate guitar chops and constant audience interaction. Nowadays, Tufano can be found regularly performing throughout Nashville, Tennessee – although the road has become his second home.

“I got addicted to the feeling of being in a new city every day,” Tufano said. “It slows down time and makes you feel like you’re really experiencing the world.”

Tufano’s entrepreneurial tendencies have truly surfaced in 2015. He founded Tufano Music Company, has done digital content pieces with both Uber and Wheat Thins, and has continued his sponsorship with Steve Clayton Inc. for custom guitar picks – just a few defining moments of his independent lifestyle discussed in his recent TEDxHerndon talk. In addition, Tufano has been self-booking a three month long, 40 city cross country tour for the release of his third record, Fireworks in Autumn.
