Annie Patterson & Charlie King

press release: Memorial Community Sing-Along tribute for Mike Tuten, with Annie Patterson and Charlie King performing and leading the sing-along.  The Madison Folk Music Society is co-sponsoring this event with the Wild Hog to honor Mike Tuten, who passed away in August. 

Mike Tuten was a staunch supporter of everything folk, served as president of MadFolk for a decade, was the "Betty" in the Oak Apple Morris Team and more recently had hosted well-attended house concerts.  And...he loved to sing!

Annie Patterson, song leader extraordinaire, folk performer and jazz vocalist, ,has been leading singing for hope and change around the globe for over 30 years with Rise Up Singing and Rise Again, the popular songbooks she created with her husband Peter Blood.

Charlie King has been making music for more than 40 years, initially as part of Bright Morning Star,and more recentlyonhis own.
