Asbury 5K

press release: Asbury Church will host its first annual 5K run/walk on Saturday, October 1, 2016. The event kicks off at Asbury Church, 6101 University Ave beginning with a free Kids Sprint followed by a 5K run/walk. Proceeds from the event will go to Sauk Trail Elementary School.

Sauk Trail is committed to inspiring students by developing programs designed to make a stronger connection to learning at home and at school. The inaugural Asbury 5k will support Sauk Trail in providing materials for these initiatives.

The race-day schedule includes:

7:00am - Packet Pickup/Registration Opens

8:30am - Pre-race warm up and stretching

8:45am - Kid Sprint

9:00am - 5k Starts

9:30am-10:00am - Post-race refreshments and awards

Advanced registration is strongly recommended. The entry fees for the 5K run/walk are $30 per person or $60 for a family of four.
