Becca May Grant & the Rivers of Madison (CD release)

press release: "Beauty for Ashes Live" features original songs with rich vocal arrangements, inventive improvisation, and a message of restoration and hope. The album showcases a variety of styles, from traditional Black gospel to angular jazz to soulful R&B.

The Rivers of Madison, an ensemble of dynamic vocalists and versatile instrumentalists, developed out of the music ministry of Fountain of Life Covenant Church in Madison, where some group members have been blending genres for twenty years.  Many of the album's songs were inspired by Becca's experience of community life in this multi-ethnic church.
