Bos Meadery and Restoration Cider announced the First Annual Bees of Spring bluegrass festival, which will be held in the back parking lot of Bos Meadery at 849 E Washington Avenue on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from Noon to 6:00 pm.
The East Side of Madison has a fantastic schedule of outdoor music festivals all summer long. To complement the calendar of outdoor events, Bos Meadery and Restoration Cider decided to put on a one-day Bluegrass Festival. The amazing line up of local bands includes:
NOON: Stillhouse Six
1:00PM: Oak Street Ramblers
2:00PM: Cork 'n Bottle String Band
3:30PM: Hoot 'n Annie String Band
4:30PM: Spare Time Bluegrass
“Madisonians are hearty folks and they are ready for some fresh air in the springtime, even if the weather isn’t perfect. We will have a tent in case it rains, but we anticipate a good turn out no matter what the weather,” noted Colleen Bos, owner of Bos Meadery.
There will be a live glass blowing demonstration, as well as food vendors, Bos Mead, Restoration Cider, beer, soft drinks and water available for purchase. We'll have a kid's activity table with art supplies as well.
This is a free event, although there is a suggested donation of $5 at the entrance.
