press release: Ben Majeska is the guitarist/vocalist for Armchair Boogie, a powerhouse bluegrass band that is making waves across the nation. Armchair Boogie formed while seated in armchairs on a front porch in the heart of Wisconsin, a bluegrass duo featuring Augie Dougherty (banjo) and Ben Majeska (guitar) Armchair Boogie created their own bluegrass “newgrass” sound, diving into the realms of funk and folk.


When he's not on tour, Ben likes to focus on solo performances that keep his playing style feeling fresh and unique. From improvised acoustic guitar jams that remind many of Keller Williams or Leo Kottke, to heartfelt originals and old folk tunes, Majeska keeps the audience focused and intrigued. Free/donations.
