Bill Burr knows he’s not the funniest guy that has held the mic at the Comedy Cellar, Laugh Factory or even the Orpheum. Maybe that’s what makes him try harder with his New York brash, angry, crass, witlessly offensive riffs on society, race, and...well, all the normal stuff. There’s a chance he’ll be the funniest thing on stage that night, but three days after the first presidential debate, people may still be reeling over whatever happened on that stage. Besides, Thursday Night Football is just the Dolphins getting trounced by the Bengals — which may or may not be funnier. ALSO: Friday, Sept. 30, 7 pm.
