press release: First Saturday every month year round, meets at 1650 Sherman Avenue (Tenney Park Beach parking lot). Outings are free, fun, family friendly and educational. No registration required, no pets. Wear a mask and maintain social distance. Wear comfortable hiking shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather. Bring binoculars or a camera if you have one! Along the way Master Naturalist Ali Penzkover will help you look for nesting Green Herons by the Tenney Lagoon Beaver Lodge and enjoy other birds and nature in this beautiful park and riverway created to help preserve nature alongside human activities for enjoyment in the middle of Madison.
