Bird Walk
Korth Park W8930 Korth Lane, Lake Mills, Wisconsin 53551
Join the Friends of Glacial Heritage Area and Jefferson/Dodge Bird Walks for a May bird walk along the Glacial Drumlin Trail near Lake Mills on Saturday, May 21, at 9:00 AM. The tour will last until about noon with many stops to look at birds and anything else of interest. Meet at the Elm Point Road shelter parking lot (lower shelter) in Korth Park.
The group will be looking to see Wood Warblers, other migrant songbirds and waterfowl. This section of the trail runs near Korth Park to Rock Lake and has an amazing diversity of birds, especially during migration. From the parking lot, the tour will head to the Glacial Drumlin trail and then turn east to Rock Lake.
Wear good walking shoes and bring binoculars. Scopes might be helpful when viewing waterfowl on Rock Lake.
