Birdathon
WSCB Launches Birdathon Team to Support Bird Conservation in Wisconsin
For the first year, WSCB is joining statewide efforts to support bird conservation, by creating a Birdathon team! Join us on Sunday, May 15th as we count as many birds as possible and fundraise to support critical bird protection projects in Wisconsin - like whooping crane recovery, Kirtland's warbler monitoring, stopover habitat protection, and more!
All are welcome to join us, whether you are an advanced birder, or a beginner! We will be meeting at Donald County Park outside of Mt. Vernon at 8:30 a.m. this Sunday, May 15th. We will bird for a couple of hours, and head to the Grumpy Troll for lunch afterwards, followed by more birding in the afternoon. Interested in joining us on May 15th as we spend a fun day in the field birding for our Birdathon? To join the team, register here.
