press release: Oklahoma's Travis Linville recently released Up Ahead, a gorgeously melodic roots album that's been lauded by NPR Music, The Boot, Wide Open Country and more and helped name Travis as one of the "10 New Country Artists You Need to Know" by Rolling Stone.

A gifted instrumentalist, Linville is also known for his work as a sideman with Texas songwriter Hayes Carll, who calls him, criminally underrated. "Travis has always been in service to the song," commends Carll. "He is capable of playing literally anything he wants, but he never overplays or tries to stand out above the song. He is as tasteful as it gets."
