press release: Street Photographer Brad Baranowski opens his "Between Two Lakes, Presented Between Two Colors" exhibit on the second floor at the Central Library on Jan. 8th. It is the culmination of a project on the isthmus concerning the paradox of open spaces that are oftentimes closed. "The evidence for this claim is seen all around us; indeed, it is at the heart of our city. My exhibit explores both the openness and closed-ness of everyday life in this part of the city, depicting people as they contribute to the meaning of the isthmus and on ambiguities found in this space," Brad said.
The show begins on Jan 8, this Friday, with the opening reception being that night in Central Public Library, 201 W Mifflin Street, Second Floor, from 8pm to 11pm. More information about opening night and other opening at the library on the same night will be available at Madison Bubbler. Through Feb. 27.
