Buddha and Love
UW Union South 1308 W. Dayton St., Madison, Wisconsin 53706
press release:
"The understanding that truth is not neutral, but is instead blissful, is something only meditators and lovers trust." -Lama Ole Nydahl
A healthy perspective on love plays a critical role in the practice of lay Buddhism today. Diamond Way Buddhism offers a unique and accessible perspective on modern relationships by going beyond sappy cliches and political correctness.
Our centers are comprised of lay practitioners that use the experience of their outer lives, including in their jobs, families and relationships with others, to cultivate an increasingly rich and meaningful inner life.
This lecture will be given by Eric Gibson, a Diamond Way Buddhist teacher from Minneapolis and is inspired by Lama Ole's book Buddha & Love: Timeless Wisdom for Modern Relationships.
***This lecture will be held on the UW-Madison campus in the Union South building and is open to the general public. Upon your arrival, check the daily listings board for the room location.
