press release: Marcus Theatres is offering something for ghosts and goblins of all ages this October, with two Halloween-themed film series at select locations. Beginning Oct. 6, classic horror favorites from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s will return to the big screen during the Fright Night Film Series. Admission for these movies is just $5 per person. Not-so-scary family titles will be shown during the Flick or Treat Film Series for just $3 admission per person.
Showtimes for Fright Night films will be Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 10 p.m., and Flick or Treat titles will play on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 10 a.m. Titles, dates and showtimes are subject to change. For more details on specific showings, visit: http://www.marcustheatres.com/
October 7-9: “Casper” – Rated PG
A paranormal expert and his daughter bunk in an abandoned house populated by three mischievous ghosts and one friendly one.
October 14-16: “Hotel Transylvania” – Rated PG
Dracula, who operates a high-end resort away from the human world, goes into overprotective mode when a boy discovers the resort and falls for the count's teenaged daughter.
October 21-23: “Hotel Transylvania 2” – Rated PG
Dracula and his friends try to bring out the monster in his half human, half vampire grandson in order to keep Mavis from leaving the hotel.
October 28-30: “Goosebumps” – Rated PG
A teenager teams up with the daughter of young adult horror author R. L. Stine after the writer's imaginary demons are set free on the town of Madison, Delaware.
