press release: Spring weather is finally here! Join us for our first ever May Cave After Dark event!
Cave After Dark is a popular series of themed events for adults 21 and older at Cave of the Mounds National Natural Landmark. Each event includes a unique at-your-own-pace cave experience and theme-related reception in our historic barn with live music, tasty treats and cash bar.
On Saturday, May 18 our Cave After Dark theme is Blooms, Brews & Bluegrass. Enjoy the spring blooms throughout the gardens while sampling six different brewed adult beverages. Tastings will include beer, hard cider, an iced tea cocktail, an iced coffee drink, hard soda infused with botanicals and hard seltzer. Up in the barn get ready to stomp your feet on the floor boards to bluegrass music by Soggy Prairie.
$30 Per Ticket: Includes access to the cave throughout the event, live music, drink tastings, as well as snacks and light hors d’oeuvres.
