Cave After Dark is a popular series of themed events for adults 21 and older at Cave of the Mounds - National Natural Landmark. Each event includes a unique at-your-own-pace in-cave experience and theme-related reception in our Visitor Center or Barn Discovery Center with cash bar. These special events do sell out, so reservations are required.
Enjoy an at-your-own-pace Cave Tour that will takes you past a varied collection of colorful stalactites, stalagmites, columns and other formations. Spectacular crystallized rock formations and shimmering pools will provide an awe-inspiring backdrop for Oktoberfest Beer Tasting and Live Music!

Milwaukee Brewing Co. Oktoberfest: Brewery: Milwaukee Brewing Co. - Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Flavor: Traditionally brewed with pale ale, caramel and toasted Munich malts that attribute a sweet earthy malty flavor, toasted aroma and a bright orange hue.
Titletown Bent Tuba Oktoberfest, Brewery: Titletown Brewing Company – Green Bay, Wisconsin. Flavor: A smooth German-style amber lager, loaded with rich, toasty malt flavor, and complimented by a touch of Bavarian hops.
Port Huron Oktoberfest, Brewery: Port Huron Brewing Company – Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Flavor: A malty, satisfying lager, in the style of a Marzen/Oktoberfest beer.

Our historic barn Discovery Center will provide the perfect setting for fall fun, tasty snacks and live bluegrass music! Cash bar featuring a variety of Wisconsin beer and wine selections will be available in the barn throughout the event.
Down From The Hills plays bluegrass music inspired by the likes of Bill Monroe, Earl Scruggs & John Hartford. Their music features both instrumental solos & vocal harmonies. Recently, they've added Cajun music to their shows, with the Cajun button accordion.
