Chance Allies

press release: 10/8: CHANCE ALLIES JAZZ FUNDRAISER.  Vocalist Tisha Brown and her band, Chance Allies, http://www.tishabrown.com/chance-allies/, continue their mission of raising funds for a variety of charitable causes.  This time, the beneficiary is The Road Home Dane County (formerly the Interfaith Hospitality Network), http://trhome.org/about-the-road-home.php, the 17-year-old nonprofit that provides opportunities for homeless children and their families to achieve self-determined goals and affordable, stable housing.  The band’s repertoire comes straight out of the Great American Songbook and includes works made famous by the likes of George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Cole Porter and Louis Armstrong.  7:00 PM, Orchard Ridge United Church of Christ, 1501 Gilbert Road.
