Madison's Choral Arts Society Chorale, under the direction of Artistic Director Mark Bloedow, will present "Choral Reflections & Celebrations!" on Saturday, May 16, 7:00pm, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1021 Spaight Street, Madison. The program opens with "Cantate Domino” by 17th Century German composer and organist Heinrich Schutz. Featured will be the complete "Coronation Mass" with orchestra by 18th Century Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Other highlights include “Alleluia” by Randall Thompson, “I am in Need of Music” by David Brunner, “Arise My Love” by Laura Farnell for women’s choir, and “Vive l’Amour” arranged by Robert Boyd for men’s choir, “Where Your Barefoot Walks” by David Childs, and “How Can I Keep from Singing” arranged by Karen Thomas. Tickets ($10 for adults, $5 for children/students) are available at Ward-Brodt Music, Orange Tree Imports, and at the door.
