CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap

press release: CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap exposes the dearth of American female and minority software engineers and explores the reasons for this gender gap and digital divide. The film highlights breakthrough efforts that are producing more diverse programmers and shows how this critical gap can be closed. CODE asks: what would society gain from having more women and minorities code and how do we get there?
Following the film screening, join in a Q&A presented in partnership with Madison's Women in Tech meetup, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, and Wisconsin Public Television.
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction has made this film available for 20 screenings across the state as part of their Coding Initiative in Wisconsin Public Libraries.
