Creating Random Acts of Kindness: Care Packages for the Displaced & Homeless

Ages 10+ Join Artist in Residence Danika Brubaker and gather to create care packages with items of need and some special extras. Materials provided, but participants are encouraged to bring one or more of the following: New thermal socks, chapstick, lightweight snacks(packaged dry fruit or nuts), hats, gloves, hand lotion, mints/gum, etc. During her residency, Danika will support the creation and documentation of random acts of kindness/art on social media platforms. Visit the Bubbler and conspire to make someone's day a little brighter; leave with the thrill of sharing your artistic creation with a stranger. More magic! More kindness! Danika Brubaker is an artist who strives to support the unfolding of the powerful social experience of creating, committing, and documenting random acts of kindness through the distribution and tagging of found art. She is the founder of the For the One Who Finds Me, a growing group of individuals of all ages who create, hashtag and hide surprise bouquets of flowers for strangers to discover. The Bubbler is funded by a grant from the Institute for Museum and Library Services.
