Goin' Soft, the long-awaited fourth full-length album by Cribshitter, finds the quintet exploring midlife angst in songs mining a west coast folk rock vibe, and mixing their usual sense of humor with (maybe) a bit of seriousness. Free Dirt's entry in the 2022 record racks, Spaghetti & Mothballs, employs sweepingly cinematic song structures and startling turns of phrase.
