Dance Wisconsin is pleased to announce that they will be returning to perform at the Overture Center for the Arts for the first time since 2006 on Saturday, January 23, 2016. Dance Wisconsin will be performing Beyond Ballet II which includes selections from their Beyond Ballet performance in October. The pieces are all original choreography created by Southern Wisconsin choreographers and set this past August on the Dance Wisconsin Company.
Seven pieces will be performed in the Promenade Hall with its intimate seating and superb sight lines. Beyond Ballet II is an excellent opportunity to feel the power of the choreography with your close proximity to the dancers in Danielle Fuhrmann’s piece Gravity and the joy of love in Jordan Tiede’s Imprint. Additional pieces created by: Chelsey Bradley, Ashley Dahm and Margaret Violante. First time choreographer, Emily Ginocchio, will also have a piece presented.
