In April 2016, Heidi Johnson (UW Extension, Crops and Soils Educator) attended the Yahara Watershed Summit and gave a quick 10-minute intro on how water-related groups can effectively connect with rural partners, including farmers. This included considerations to keep in mind with rural partners if you want them to participate, and sensitive areas to be aware of as you work with farmers. This Watershed Network Gathering will allow her to expand on that topic.
