press release: Darren Sterud has been an active freelance trombonist in Wisconsin and Minnesota since 2001, when he was still in high school. Since then, his musical repertoire has grown to include starting The New Tradition Brass Band, and sharing the stage with countless jazz legends. Sterud has toured both nationally and internationally. In all instances, his joy for performance is palpable.
